SPARK Software Development Kit

The SPARK SDK is the complete development framework for LE-UWB™ wireless applications. It includes the Wireless Core and Audio Core source code, Datalink application, example applications, BSP for SPARK evaluation hardware, and a full porting guide for custom MCU integration.

What's in the SDK

Wireless Core

The foundational LE-UWB™ link layer. Handles TDMA scheduling, frequency hopping, channel management, pairing, power mode control, and concurrency. Supports star network, peer-to-peer, and cluster tree topologies. Separate implementations for SR1000 and SR1100 (SR1120) silicon families.

Audio Core

Complete wireless audio pipeline. Supports uncompressed and ADPCM audio, clock drift compensation, fallback modes, sampling rate conversion, and volume control. Used in the our headset reference design.

Datalink

The foundational point-to-point data link application. Full source access : the starting point for custom application development on the SR1120 EVK.

Application examples

Eight complete example applications: Hello World, Hello World RTOS, Datalink, Audio Bidirectional, Audio Unidirectional, Headset, Star Network, Connection Priority, Fragmentation. Each includes source code, application schedule, pairing configuration, and certification mode.

BSP - Evaluation Hardware support

Two Board Support Packages included: EVK1.4 BSP (SR1000 EVK) and Quasar BSP (SR1120 EVK). Full peripheral drivers including, audio, SPI/QSPI, GPIO, USB, LED, power, timer, UART.

Porting guide

Complete guide for integrating the SPARK Wireless Core and Audio Core onto custom MCU hardware. Covers facade/backend architecture, hardware platform requirements, SPI/QSPI implementation, RTOS integration, BSP validator, profiler, and optimization guide.

Development environment

VS Code preferred IDE. CMake build system. Python virtual environment toolchain. Cross-platform compatibility via SPI/GPIO abstraction layer.
